Adult Ministry

The list below is a reflection of our church's desire to minister and make ministers out of all of our men and women.

This team, formerly known as Baptist Men, is now composed of both men and women who are enthusiastically involved in local mission projects.

Our church offers many opportunities to the congregation for fellowship and recreation. The group participates in the Forest City recreational leagues for basketball and softball. All teams are co-ed and for ages high school and older.

The Sanctuary Choir works diligently to lead the liturgy of the church through sacred music. Weekly worship services and special seasonal services are the primary responsibilities of this group. The choir also has combined with other choirs to travel and sing in Carnegie Hall and Avery Fisher Hall in New York, as well as internationally in Dublin and Oxford.
This choir’s annual Advent Carol Concert is a cherished community tradition.
Members of the Sanctuary Choir have participated in festivals and concerts sponsored by the North Carolina chapter of the American Choral Directors Association and with the Choral Union of Gardner-Webb University.
